We live in an attention economy. My grandmother used to warn me about people staring at their phones in public. I found that a bit funny back then. We consume what we are fed and repeat it as if it were our own. You see it on TikTok and Instagram every day, where people build a whole personality out of reposted memes. When was the last time any of us had a genuine thought?
